MEET DAVID
THE PERSON BEHIND DIGITALFOREVER.
I'm David, and together with a small local team we personally handle the memories entrusted to DigitalForever here in Essex.
What we work with may be old technology, but what's recorded on it is often irreplaceable / children growing up, family holidays, weddings, familiar voices and moments that haven't been seen or heard for decades.
That's why I believe converting these memories should be a personal service. From the moment your originals are handed over to us until they're returned with your new digital files, they're treated with the care I'd expect for my own.
WHERE IT ALL STARTED
One old cine film started everything.
DigitalForever began when I had a 50-year-old family cine film converted to digital. For the first time in decades, those moments could be watched again rather than remaining unseen on an old reel.
Seeing those memories brought back to life made me realise how many families must have similar recordings tucked away on tapes, films and cassettes.
That experience became the idea behind DigitalForever.
