The DigitalForever Home Video Archive

Small pieces of history we've discovered while preserving Essex's home movies.

From forgotten labels and vintage packaging to the little details that surrounded our home movies, each one is a reminder of how we recorded and preserved our memories before the digital age.

Did you carefully label every tape and use the letters and numbers to keep your collection organised? Maybe you picked out the little wedding, baby, birthday, holiday or pet stickers to show what was on the tape.

Or did you ignore them completely and leave the label sheets untouched in the case for the last 30+ years
